Crazy about floor plans

OK, I'm not an architect, I'm not a drafts man either, I'm not a contractor, constructor, or property developer.  I'm not a real-estate agent nor am I a civil engineer.

I'm just a guy who loves buildings, floor plans and anything related.  I love old buildings, ancient architecture and everything related. If i had a choice i would probably have ended up being anything of the above.  But I'm not and that's a story for another day.  Despite that fact, I have had this bug inside me since I was 9 years old... and that is to draw floor plans!  I saw my first floor plan drawing when my father brought home drafts of a house he intended to construct and i was fascinated at how a building could be depicted on paper.  i started to  sketch my own designs and tried to create models of the same (not very successfully though).

17 years down the line I'm till sketching for fun.  Since my childhood hobby did not materialise into a profession, I still sketch floor plans just for fun and relaxation.  Off course i do hope that someday i will be able to realise some of the floor plans I've sketched into real buildings.  My other motivation now is to create comfortable living spaces for people to enjoy.  I'm inspired by classic, pre-colonial architecture and like to mix it with modern ideas. My intention for writing this blog is to share what I have with other like minded people who might share this strange passion that i have.
